The Caran d'Ache 'Return to Hong Kong' fountain pen was specially created to commemorate the reunification of Hong Kong with China in 1997.
This piece was designed by the famous architect Tao Ho, who was also the creator of Hong Kong's new flag after reunification.
In the body of the piece, made of brass, we find Chinese characters engraved and covered in gold. The message that is read is: "One country, two systems". The body is bathed in an attractive red lacquer.
It has two rings of 25 zircons each. It is equipped with an 18k gold nib and is accompanied by a beautiful octagonal case in black lacquered wood.
This limited edition consists of 1997 pieces worldwide.
