- Origin and Concept: This pen is born from the success of the original Pininfarina Cambiano, the eternal pencil, and adapts its iconic design for those who prefer traditional writing with ink. It is part of the project "Pininfarina Segno", Pininfarina's division dedicated to writing instruments and design accessories.
- Design: It maintains the elegant and essential lines that characterize the Cambiano collection, inspired by Pininfarina's automotive design concepts. It is known for its minimalist and sophisticated style.
- Materials:
- Aluminum Body: The main body of the pen is made of aluminum, which gives it lightness and durability.
- Solid Walnut Wood Inserts: A distinctive feature of the Cambiano line are the elegant walnut wood inserts, which bring a warm and organic touch to the metallic design, creating an attractive visual contrast.
- Colour: As you specified, this version is colored red. Generally, it is a satin or anodized finish in a red tone.
- Mechanism: It is a pen, which means it uses a ball tip and ink cartridges. The ink is usually black.
- Ergonomics: Despite its sleek design, it is meant to be comfortable in the hand for extended writing sessions.
- Case/Presentation: It is often presented in an elegant solid wood (walnut) box, which can also function as a desk stand, enhancing its value as a design and gift object.
