For many decades, the craftsmanship of Otto Hutt was in the hands of the Hutt family. The firm was founded by Karl Hutt in 1920, and then successfully run by his son Otto, whose name still bears the brand. Karl Hutt transferred the idea of the Bauhaus style to new products and founded a company that makes pocket accessories for everyday use and elegant writing devices made of silver. In the 1960s, he passed the leadership of the company to his son Otto Hutt, who continued to expand the business and successfully asserted itself in the domestic and international market. Later, Robert E. Huber GmbH, together with CEO Marco Frei, succeeded Otto Hutt. Both carefully evisaged the product portfolio and continued to successfully develop existing manufacturing processes. Today, the company's outstanding competence in terms of craftsmanship and technical precision are the basis of the excellent worldwide reputation enjoyed by Otto Hutt products.
