- Inspiration: The "Indian Summer" or "Veranillo de San Miguel", a natural phenomenon in North America (especially in New England and Canada) where the foliage of the trees takes on spectacular colors (yellows, oranges, reds, browns, ochres) before winter. The design of the feather seeks to capture this autumnal color palette.
- Body (Barrel):
- Unlike the classic striped resin Souverän, the barrel of the M640 series (and thus the R640 rollerball) is made of lacquered metal with a glossy polished finish.
- It features an intricate multicolored pattern that simulates autumn leaves, with shades ranging from dark brown to yellow, orange, and red. The surface is completely smooth.
- It has a slightly bulging shape in the middle, characteristic of the 640 series.
- Cap and Details (Trim):
- The metal components (rings, clip) are plated in palladium or ruthenium (which gives them a silver color), contrasting elegantly with the warm tones of the barrel.
