Visconti is an Italian company founded in 1988 in Florence by Dante del Vecchio and Luigi Poli, both fountain pen collectors. The use of celluloid was one of its main characteristics, as well as titanium, ebonite and acrylic fiber. A wide variety of limited editions and the continuous evolution of its designs mark its range of products. The Van Gogh model, launched in 2003, is its flagship selling thousands of writing instruments from this series year after year.
